Free Sunday Access to Terwillegar Rec Centre
All Year
Bring your current OHCL Community League membership card to the Terwillegar Community Recreation Centre on Sundays from 5-7 PM year round and get free family admission to the pool and other amenities such as the fitness centre, running track, gymnasiums and indoor playground.
Tennis/Pickleball
Summer
Members of Oak Hills have discounted access to nearby Brookview tennis courts to play or learn tennis and pickle ball with a Brookview Associate Membership. For just $20, Oak Hills members can play tennis all season!
Rec Centre Discounts
All Year
As a member of Oak Hills, receive discounts on annual, multi-pass and monthly admissions to City of Edmonton sports and fitness facilities.
Farmer's Market
May-October
Running from May to October, the Southwest Edmonton Farmers' Market is our favourite community gathering place! Located in the Terwillegar Recreation Centre South Parking Lot, by the Leger Transit Station
Cycle Club - Oak Hills
June/July
Join the club, and log your cycling kms using the Strava app. Help Oak Hills accumulate the most KMs, for a cross-city Community-League bike challenge.
We compete with other Leagues to see who can get the highest total kms in June. Tell your neighbours! Let's do this together!
Community Walking Maps
All Year
We have put some serious KM's on to provide you with a guide on walking loops, circuits and trails of various distances nearby. Electronic copy is available here, paper copies are available at TCRC and local libraries.
YEG Youth Drop-In Program
All Year

Youth age 13-17 are welcome every Wednesday from 4:15-7:15 PM to join in activities such as sports, arts, board games, hang out space, swimming and more. Terwillegar Rec Centre.
Community Fence Painting
Spring
The Oak Hills community league funds a fence painting program with the goal of improving the community-facing fences in our area. Information is usually sent out in early spring/May.
Summer Green Shack - Leger/AJM Park
July/August
The Green Shack program is running in our neighbourhood all Summer. Come and join us for games, crafts, sports, free play, and more!
This program is targeted for children aged 6-12, but all children accompanied by an adult are welcome to attend.
Front Yards in Bloom
May/June
The Front Yards in Bloom recognition program is all about celebrating the efforts of our neighbours in beautifying the neighbourhood. Get in the spirit and nominate a neighbour today!
Light Em' Up Community Light Celebration
December
Decorate your Home and Show your Community Spirit! This event is open to all Oak Hills residents. Fantastic Gift Certificates will be awarded for 1st & 2nd & 3rd place in each neighbourhood.
Judging takes place December 15th-20th , 2019 so make sure to have your lights on during those days!
Groomed X-Country Ski Trails
Winter
If you enjoy cross-country skiing make sure check out over 10km of trail loops that run through our community!
Big shout out to volunteer, Ron for maintaining the trails for us and to South West Area Council of Community Leagues - SWAC and Ski2LRT for their support.

Spring Green Shack
March/April
Come enjoy the spring! Spring green shack is running at nearby Terwillegar South Park until April 26th!

Pop-Up Play - Carter Crest Park
July/August
Similar to Green Shack, but runs on a different schedule. Games, crafts, sports and free play!

Edmonton Tool Library
All Year

Need to borrow a tool? As an Oak Hills member you have access to the Edmonton Tool Library for FREE!
The Edmonton Tool Library provides access to hand, power, and garden tools.
Drop In Hockey / Shinny
All Year
Community league members have access to free shinny passes which can be used at nearby Terwillegar Rec Centre for drop in hockey. Passes can be picked up at the Terwillegar Riverbend Advisory Council (TRAC) Office, during office hours. The TRAC office is located inside the Terwillegar Rec Centre.
Snow Angels
Winter
An awareness and community recognition program that encourages Edmontonians to help a neighbour in need. This program is no longer operating, but we are looking for other solutions.
